Simply Jupiter

I'd nearly forgotten all about these, but *DarkZephyrMoon reminded me! It's been a long time since I added any members to my rag-tag next gen crack senshi team, so here goes! Say hello to Jupiter! She's actually so far the only senshi who's NOT the result of a crack-pairing, and like her mother she's Sailor Jupiter. How weird is that?!? I know, she thinks it's strange too! But I needed it for some other plot!

Anyway, this is Shizuka Kino (Silence of the forest), and she's the child of Makoto and a not named father. The reason for this is that Mako had a relationship to a married man, who abandoned her when she got pregnant. Makoto tried dealing with her unexpected situation on her own, but when she fell seriously ill in her third trimester, she went to the only one she could think of, Ami, who was studying to become a doctor. She took her in with open arms, scolding her for being an idiot who should have come to her friends immediately. Luckily the child was born healthy (and only a bit premature). Ami insisted that Makoto and the child should be staying with her, and after a while they just became a permanent part of the household.

Shikuza is a quiet and somewhat shy girl, lacking her mother's outer strength and confidence (but not her "talent"). She often feels left out when in large groups, as she tends to blend in with the surroundings when she feels insecure, which is more or less all the time. She feels like an outsider in the senshi team as well, as she is the only one of the inner senshi who shares her mother's senshi name.

I think she's adorable though, even if she's not cracka-licious! Besides, it's good with a little variety every now and then, they can't all be the same! Hopefully Ami's kid will follow shortly, unless I forget all about this again.
