Hero - Chad Kreoger

's character Usagiko, who is also Sailor Crystal Moon. She's the heiress to the throne, and has a pretty good life. Yet, she's usually angry, withdrawn and hates her responsibilities. Usagi is clinically depressed, which makes her life as crown-princess and warrior of justice a difficult one. How will you fight your outer enemies, when you can not fight the ones inside? And how can you love your people, your world, when you're unable to love yourself?

There are many ways to become a hero, and living with depression can make heroes out of both the one struggling with it, and those around them as well.

Usagiko was actually not the character I was going to draw for Puffy's contest, but then she demanded to be heard, and what can I do? I'll probably try to get the one I was planning to draw done later!

A very different kind of shading in this one than I usually do, but I hope my point comes across without the picture being too weird!
