Guardian

As it is, Selenity, or Blue Moon, is the one of my moon girls who gets the littlest attention from me. So who is she? She's the second daughter of Neo Queen Serenity, and there it usually stops. So why is that? What happens later? The answer is: nothing.

When I created Leni, it was out of the want to have a moon princess who looked different. Her mother's blue eyes, brown hair and freckles, it was clearly she couldn't be Mamoru's kid (although you could say the same for Chibi Usa...). So instead she became the child of Serenity with her second husband, an evil man who had killed the king and brainwashed the queen. This also provided the "story" with a bad-guy, so it's all win-win.

Of course, as Selenity eperience her beloved family and friend get sick or die, and her father gets more and more evil, she does the only thing she can do; travel back in time to fix it. As she's still a young girl, she doesn't automatically realise that going back in time and stopping yourself from being born == you will never be born.

This is where people say I'm being mean. This is where I say that Selenity is an awesome little girl. She does what she has to, knowing full well that if she does, she won't be around any more. Sad? Yes. Makes your heart bleed? Yup. Would the rest of my moon line exist if she hadn't done it? Nooooo. Leni does a "very brave thing" (TM!) of Mary-Sueic proportions, and it'd be shameful to diminish that by magically having her be alive. (And I totally could, this is Sailor Moon after all! ) So there you have it. She might be a very minor character, but I still consider her an important part of my moon line! She's the guardian of the princesses of Crystal Tokyo.
